Village Hall

Village Hall

The village hall is located on Station Road at the junction with Meldreth Road.

Facilities include wheelchair access, a reception area, a spacious main hall (with a raised stage), kitchen, a separate committee room and off-street parking to the rear of the hall for 50 vehicles (including reserved disabled parking). It also has separate male and female conveniences including one that is wheelchair accessible.
The hall is available for occasional hire for residents and non-residents for functions such as exhibitions, social gatherings, meetings, parties, dances and receptions. The hall can accommodate up to 120 people (of which 100 can be seated) and has a Performing Rights Society licence. Although the hall is not licensed to sell alcohol, alcoholic beverages can be served at private events. The hall and meeting room can be hired separately or together by the hour. Please see the 2016 charges below. Hirers are asked to agree to the Shepreth Village Hall Conditions of Letting document which gives more detail.

Recreation Ground, Old School Field and Collins Close

Recreation Ground, Old School Field and Collins Close

Shepreth Recreation Ground, Old School Field and Collins Close are the three open spaces looked after by Shepreth Parish Council.

The Recreation Ground is situated behind the Village Hall close to the station and the Wildlife Park. It is a large area of grass surrounded by leafy tress, with play equipment and a basketball area. The Rec is used for a variety of activities including the annual summer fair and regularly by local football teams.

Old School Field is on the High Street, Shepreth amongst residential area. It contains a collection of play equipment and an area of grass for relaxation and enjoyment.

Collins Close, just off Meldreth Rd is a smaller space which includes play equipment for younger children.
